Meet Your Teacher - Mrs. Taylor

Hello! My name is Taylor, and I am a mother of two sons- one is 7 years old and the other is 3 years old. I have worked off and on with children my entire life, starting as a teacher's aide in high school and community college, and then continuing to work with children with special needs (aka special superpowers) in school and home settings. Intrigued by wanting to learn more about child development, emotional regulation, and promoting positive behaviors, I pursued and received my master's degree in psychology, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. However, I ended up working in human resources for a while, and I am excited to say I stepped back into the area of work I always knew my heart was in and finally pursued my dream of opening up my own licensed daycare this year.

I personally remember the first time I put my son into preschool and it was a very scary thing to entrust someone else with your most precious thing in life. I fully understand that feeling and want to ensure you I will provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. Your child will be treated as my own. This won't just be a regular day care either. This will be an adventure filled with curriculum, learning, laughter, memories, arts and crafts, getting outside and our toes in the mud, dancing, singing, and most of all, enriching your child's early years to set them up for a foundation of success. My goal is to send your child home to you at the end of each day knowing that they left happy, laughed, bellies full, learned something new, played hard, and created memories that will last a lifetime.
